Small-batch spices, sauces and pantry heat

Hi, I am Julius.

I am 11 years old. I am a foodie, and I’ve loved cooking since I was very young. I also enjoy watching food programs on TV and YouTube.

One day, I would like to be a chef or maybe even a football player. Food, football, family and friends are my things 🙂

Farm in Portugal

In Portugal, we have a farm with my grandfather where we grow vegetables and chilies and raise chickens. We also have a cat! There are lots of olive trees on the farm, and we make our own olive oil every year, but the mandarin trees are my favorite.

These days, I use olive oil in most of the food I cook, and I even enjoy it on bread. I am not a big fan of butter. I also have friends in the Portuguese countryside, and we love playing together and spending time on the farm.

BBQ Spice

When I was 6 or 7, I used to visit a local burger restaurant in Finland that claimed they had the best BBQ spices in the country. I did not agree!

So, I started experimenting with spices on my own and came up with my very own BBQ spice recipe, which I am now selling on my webshop. My sister, who is 8 years old, helps me with logistics and packaging.

Webshop

I built this webshop because I want to experiment more with food and let other people try my products. All of my products are homemade with parental supervision 😀

My dream is to create more products and maybe even open my own restaurant someday.

Chilius should feel personal: a young cook learning by making real products, supported by family and a farm full of ingredients.
